The things that surprised you there and the ones that surprise me in America as a comparison. I can't live without foie gras...that's for sure!<BR/>One way I like to use walnut oil is in a salad of endive, goat cheese crumble and chopped walnut, walnut oil, vinegar, salt and pepper.Helenehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15119932841882891505noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7292285026495708432.post-7924613699030216372008-07-23T21:38:00.000-04:002008-07-23T21:38:00.000-04:00Thanks for sharing the amazing photos. You learn an awful lot about the local folks. We stumbled across Berkeley's farmer's market on Saturday, complete with 5,000 varieties of fruit, knife sharpeners, tarot card readers, and compost bins. Definitely felt the local vibe :)Neenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10669218258335429493noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7292285026495708432.post-10564037345198692082008-07-23T10:27:00.000-04:002008-07-23T10:27:00.000-04:00What cool pics, I would love to shop at that marke...What cool pics, I would love to shop at that market ... but I would skip the donkey :)OhioMomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05707708610825016870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7292285026495708432.post-47407885191196788092008-07-23T10:04:00.000-04:002008-07-23T10:04:00.000-04:00these are my favorite pictures yet! i love the bu...these are my favorite pictures yet! i love the buildings and landscapes--beautiful. and you're right, that's far and away the coolest flower i've ever seen--it's awesome! as for the ass sammich...that's downright hilarious. great post! :)gracehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02368850949339758604noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7292285026495708432.post-68523868156000127442008-07-23T08:00:00.000-04:002008-07-23T08:00:00.000-04:00I love your travel posts. As for the foie gras farm, I hope you write about that - I'm so interested since you said that it didn't effect you b/c the ducks were treated humanely - the word on this needs to get out to more people! this whole ban on foie gras drives me nuts! I look forward to hopefully reading about that trip in detail.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7292285026495708432.post-74656858562746347892008-07-22T17:37:00.000-04:002008-07-22T17:37:00.000-04:00I've enjoyed seeing your photos, thanks for postin...I've enjoyed seeing your photos, thanks for posting them!Nichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11843118087690038577noreply@blogger.com
